Briar Steading is a luxury holiday cottage that was completed in January 2011 using local stone to complement the existing stone cottages on the thee acre grounds. Guests can enjoy sunrises and sunsets and spectacular starry and moonlit nights across Loch Earn from the large south facing windows. Patio doors and windows overlook Loch Earn from the open plan spacious lounge and from both bedrooms. Wake up in the morning to the delightful views across the loch to Edinample castle and Glen Ample. The open plan lounge has modern furniture and a woodburning stove for comforting winter breaks. The heating is electric and heaters can be set on timer or used manually. In addition to the practical side of the building facing south, with large double glazed windows and high specification insulation, guests are awarded 333 units of electricity in the price of a weeks holiday which is more than the average user will need. The bedrooms are separated by the lounge giving privacy to friends or relatives. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroo The extensive private gardens include a 250ft area of garden on the banks of Loch Earn. Guests are permitted to fish for trout free of charge. Small boats, kayaks and canoes can be launched from the slipway and there are 3 moorings in front of the garden. After a day out on the loch you can ask to use the owners hot tub.
